Corporate Legal

This role is to render legal opinions and assist the company and its 190+ affiliates with both domestic and international legal-related issues regarding day to day operations as well as expanding the company’s business regionally and globally. The core responsibility is to review various type of contracts both Thai and English contracts that are related to our company and its Affiliates in Thailand and to coordinate with the business team to provide legal opinions on various issues that might arise, also handle ad-hoc works as assigned by supervisor and management.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Provide legal opinions for legal-related matters and advice on legal issues to business units
• Draft, review, revise and provide legal opinions on various types of commercial Agreements; ranging from MOU, NDA, Bank Guarantee, Supply Agreements, Service and Agreements, Lease Agreements, Employment Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements and legal documentations in consideration of the Company’s interests both from legal and commercial perspective.
• Prepare a summary of the legal litigation reports of each company and its affiliates on a quarterly basis
• Provide Notarial Services works.
• Conduct legal research and contact with the Thai governmental authorities i.e. Department of Business Development, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand and Thailand Board of Investment etc.
• Report to the Head of Corporate Legal in respect of the assignments.
• Liaise and coordinate with external lawyers in connection with projects,

Qualification

• Bachelor or Master ’s degree of Laws, Barrister at law is a plus
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Law firm or conglomerates (preferably in manufacturing business)
• Good command of English
• Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel
• Notarial Services
• Research and Interpersonal Skill
• Experience relating FBL/BOI is a plus
