Sustainability Reporting & ESG Disclosure Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1. Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure
- Support annual Sustainability Report development, including data collection, content input, evidence tracking, review cycles, and sign-off follow-up.
- Support disclosure mapping against GRI, IFRS S1/S2, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ESG ratings, and other relevant requirements.
- Maintain reporting data owner matrix, disclosure checklist, evidence folders, version control, and action tracker.
2. ESG Ratings and Evidence Support
- Support ESG ratings and assessments such as FTSE ESG Scores, DJSI, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics, ChemScore or other relevant assessments.
- Review previous submissions, rating feedback, lost points, public disclosure gaps, and improvement actions.
- Coordinate with relevant functions to collect evidence and prepare responses.
3. Reporting Standards and Framework Support
- Translate framework or rating requirements into practical data requests, evidence needs, owners, deadlines, and report improvements.
- Support future reporting readiness for IFRS S1/S2, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and related disclosure requirements.
- Support gap assessment follow-up, content mapping against key standards and frameworks, and track open issues, data gaps, ownership gaps, and pending decisions.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Clarify data requirements and supporting evidence needed for reporting, ratings, and public disclosure.
- Follow up and coordinate to ensure timely and accurate information submission, while identifying and escalating key issues or gaps as needed.
Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of direct experience in sustainability reporting, ESG disclosure, ESG ratings, ESG data/evidence management, sustainability consulting, ESG assurance, or corporate sustainability reporting.
- Structured, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing trackers, deadlines, evidence folders, version control, and follow-ups.
- Strong English writing and review skills for sustainability disclosure content, with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Corporate sustainability experience in a listed company (multinational company experience is a plus).
- Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, packaging, materials, energy, or industrial sectors
- ESG Consulting background would be a plus
- IFRS S1/S2 training or hands-on exposure is highly preferred.
