The Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Kolkata, India supports worldwide operations through centralized IT, Finance and business process services.

Position Overview :

RTR - Executor to be responsible to perform period-end closing activity, financial planning and reporting, accounting and supporting internal and external audit as per company policies, procedures and guidelines for IVL GCC. 

The team is seeking Associate - RTR to join our growing RTR team. This position is located in GCC Office, Kolkata.  We are looking for highly motivated professionals with demonstrated capabilities and relevant experience. A successful individual in this role must have strong negotiating, communication, attention to detail, presentation, reporting & demonstrated related work experience with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. 

  

What You'll Do

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Service Delivery: 

• Perform period-end closing activities covering general ledger processing, provisioning, GL scrutiny, and bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure on time closing of books of accounts and prepare financial statements, reports and schedules
• Ensure that individual SLAs and KPI targets are met for month end & reporting activities
• Resolve queries (internal and external) related to R2R and FP&A within defined turnaround time
• Prepare MIS and reports as per monthly calendar
• Liaise with the location teams as needed to enable the desired business outcomes
• Respond to both internal and external audit queries to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests
• Add to the knowledge management databases, particularly regarding resolution of issues
• Perform activities assigned by the Team Lead

2. Operational Excellence: 

• Execute initiatives related to operational excellence
• Provide ideas for process improvements 

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

• Exposure to relevant enabling technology and ERP systems (S4 HANA preferred)

EXPERIENCE : 

 

• Relevant experience of 6 - 10 years

• Experience in working and leading in a rapidly changing environment

• Exposure to GCC operations and experience in the manufacturing industry (petrochemical preferred)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : 

• CA Inter/ICWA/ICWA Inter/M.Com

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS : 

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

• Teanacity to work in international environment with operational challenges across different time zone / Countries / department

• Strong communication skills
