Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Salesforce Functional Lead to oversee the end-to-end Salesforce processes across our implementations. This role acts as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into scalable, practical solutions and promoting agile delivery practices throughout the organization.
This high-impact position is responsible for managing the product backlog, leading sprint ceremonies, driving major and minor releases, and ensuring every delivery upholds the highest standards of quality and documentation.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
Process Lead & Business Analysis
- Lead the full lifecycle of Salesforce business processes — from requirement gathering to go-live and hypercare.
- Translate business needs into comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process maps, persona maps, and user stories.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, facilitate discovery sessions, and ensure requirement sign-offs.
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and validate business objectives.
Salesforce Solution Design
- Leverage deep knowledge of Sales Cloud to design scalable, best-practice solutions in alignment with Salesforce architecture principles.
- Work closely with developers on configuration, custom development, and integration design decisions.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate defect triage with business users.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce platform governance and release management standards.
Agile Delivery & Scrum
- Lead sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; act as Scrum Master when needed.
- Draft and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring readiness for sprints.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Salesforce Platform Owner (COE), Business Product Owner, and other stakeholders.
Documentation & Presentation
- Create high-quality documentation, including FSDs, process flow diagrams, decision trees, data flow maps, and persona maps.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations to senior stakeholders, C-suite, and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain up-to-date solution documentation in line with delivered configuration and customizations.

- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
- Agile certification

- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Service Cloud
Experience
Core Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Salesforce functional consulting in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong techno-functional understanding of the Salesforce platform — adept at bridging business and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ (preferred), and Business Analytics.
- Proven expertise in manufacturing/commercial domain — including sales lifecycle, customer experience, and configure-price-quote processes.
- Experience running sprints and managing agile delivery using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills — comfortable with complex data models and business rules.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to present to all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to write requirements in the form of Agile user stories.
- Experience with Quality Assurance processes and driving QA standards.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio, or equivalent).
