As a Communication Manager, you'll be managing day to day communications as part of a cross-functional team focused on shaping and sharing the company and segment narrative, internally and externally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your strategic and creative communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders and drive positive impact in the chemical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the segment’s positioning, visibility and reputation.
- Craft compelling narratives and messages that effectively communicate the company's mission, values, and achievements across various channels (including digital platforms, press releases, and internal communications).
- secure positive coverage and manage crisis communication effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Finance and Research & Development to align communication efforts with business objectives and ensure consistency in messaging.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and newsletters, for both employees and customers.
- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement, transparency, and alignment with company goals, helping to organizing town hall meetings, employee newsletters, and other engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in a communication role within a multi-national company, working with international colleagues and delivering high quality English language Communications materials.
- Manufacturing industry or related field experience is a bonus.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that drive business results.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools.
- Experience in media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
